THE TABLOID MEDIA
WANT TO LEARN THE SECRETS OF TABLOID NEWSPAPERS AND
HOW THEY WORK?
Need to get your clients covered by The Sun, News of the World, Mirror, Star, Mail or Express?
Unsure why your story wasn’t bigger or failed to feature the right plugs and name-checks?
Then book a place on our new Making A Splash In The Tabloid Media half-day course and you will get advice, tips and tricks from two journalists who have spent more than a decade each in senior positions within the popular print and online press.
Let the unique experience and insight of Jonathan Weinberg and Simon Rothstein work for you.
Through a series of practical modules, we will show you why the six key ingredients to every tabloid story – Who, What, Where, Why, When and How – really matter. A full synopsis and schedule of the workshop is available to view on request.
Our half-day course is strictly limited to 10 people and takes place in Fleet Street, the spiritual home of the UK newspaper industry.
Delivered in a friendly and informal manner, it has been designed to offer practical help and advice for in-house PRs and agency staff from Account Managers to Account Executives.
Not only will it make gaining coverage easier, it will help build stronger and more productive relationships with journalists.
The lessons learned work for a variety of genres including areas we have both covered including News, Features, Showbiz, TV, Lifestyle, Health, Sport, Travel and Technology.
Our experience means we are uniquely placed to provide an effective overview of the ever-changing media landscape, from traditional newspapers to apps, paywalls, Facebook, Twitter and multimedia content.
And when the day is over, we will head to a famous Fleet Street pub for a well-deserved drink… and you can fight over who pays for it on expenses!
We have already delivered a series of highly praised talks and training sessions to leading agencies, Gorkana, the PRCA and The Prince’s Trust.
So we are also available to visit your agency and deliver the same course – or one tailored to your specific needs – to groups of staff in-house.
Our next course takes place on Wednesday November 10 from 1.30pm to 5.45pm.
Each half-day session costs £225 per person + VAT. Discounts are available for agencies affiliated to Gorkana, charity press officers, students and for group bookings of three or more places. We’ll even throw in tea and biscuits!
